For many people at this time in our country, we need to remind ourselves we are all in this together. I was struck by the frequent advocacy and urgency of this being said. I wasn’t surprised because people are expressing it now but because it was so rarely spoken before this global health scare. We are all individuals from a common denomination or origin; we are spiritual beings. We each have a persona through which God knows itself. Any appearance of separation from God is an untruth; there can be no actual separation. Nor can the good of God be withheld from you. Your soul and mine are both infused with God’s goodness and perfect spiritual nature. Spirit [God] is a constant we are endowed with; therefore, it is a constant connection between all of us.
Separate but together
So, from the day of our birth we have been in this together. Are we separated by appearances? Yes, we are. By level of consciousness and awareness? Yes, we are. By geography and culture? Yes, we are. But we are never truly separated from our goodness [put there by God] or each other unless by choice or perhaps through ignorance. We are together forevermore and always will be throughout our lives.

How can anyone be self referenced during this time in the world. How can we ignor the need for people to reach beyond themselves and offer whatever is within them to those in need. Not only monetary gifts but also the gifts we have been freely given to each of us. Hope, encouragement, understanding and compassion are at times like these needed more than ever.
Let’s reach deep and discover that gift within us and use it now.
