Learn From the Greatest Minds

I recently saw an advertisement for a program about how to learn from the greatest minds of our day. That sounded great to me, but upon closer reflection, I asked, “Why not my mind? Doesn’t it have a lot to teach me?” Sometimes we forget we have our own intelligent mind right where we are. Maybe it’s not fully exposed or known to us, but our mind is built to discover all the answers we need.

Your own great mind

Our mind stands ready to help us excel if we allow it. Our mind is intertwined with our spiritual nature and comes through our own individual personalities. For example, Oprah decided to work in television and found her voice. Steve Jobs decided to innovate and imagined the iPhone. Michael Phelps decided to swim and made Olympic history. Dr. Barker, author of The Power of Decision, explained, “No creative process can begin until a decision is made.” So, what’s your next best decision? It’s obvious looking back at the decisions made by these other greats.

Go within to change your life

What decision could change your life? Improve your circumstance? Why not ask Spirit for help? Go within. Now is the best time to kick-start your creative process and reimagine your future. Maybe, just maybe, the next best decision you make might change your life!  For more on this powerful idea, see my article titled “How Do I Win Big?” from the April 2020 Better Ideas for Better Decisions Newsletter.
