“All achievement is a marriage of idealism and great execution.”
Many books and articles have been written about this quote by author Mitch Horowitz*. It also applies to The Power of Decision and Power Your Decisions Self-Study Workbook, a dynamic duo about fulfilling your greatest ideas by exercising effective, spiritual practices. Together these books pack a powerful punch that raises your Spiritual IQ. They teach you how to remove less than ideal thoughts from your mind and belief systems. By discarding out-of-date patterns of thought, you can focus on more ideal circumstances—your heart’s desires.
Your Ideal Circumstances
Inside the word ideal is the word idea. Yet how many times does a good idea seem too big or beyond your expectations? Before you know it, your ideal is discarded or turned into a daydream. Horowitz goes on to say, “The wanting alone is insufficient.” Let us return to our understanding of the importance of the definition of intelligence. Intelligence is our responsiveness to events and circumstances in our lives. It is our responsiveness and the use of our own mind to achieve what is ideal for ourselves. Our intelligent response is always required if we want better results. And who doesn’t? The wanting alone, however, is rarely sufficient. Not picking up your own feet and moving forward is a decision to fail. Some people even go so far as to only expect miracles. Sadly, their failure to take personal responsibility often leads to many more disappointments. God does not give us things; God gives us its greater ideas to act upon. Horowitz concludes by saying, “there must be impeccable follow-through.” It’s here he places great emphasis on the quality of the follow-through.
How to Ensure Great Execution
First, WE MUST make a personal connection to ideas given to us by the Spirit [God]. Secondly, WE MUST passionately believe in our desired goal of achievement. And lastly, WE MUST undertake all the necessary steps with greater execution than ever before. That is what we call a rewarding life’s journey. There is no other way to get our best results while on this earthy plane. There is a special reason we call them our heart’s desires. They are our ideal circumstances for our own health, love, self-esteem, career, personal wealth and much, much more. No one can claim this destiny for us. Isn’t it time you claim your heart’s desires?
